Micah White and Chiara Ricciardone have been winning campaigns together since they took on a polluting dry cleaner in their residential neighborhood in Binghamton, NY many years ago. They are passionate about achieving gender parity, innovating the paradigms of protest, and ending the corporate-owned duopoly in the U.S.A.
Micah is a lifelong activist and author of The End of Protest: A New Playbook for Revolution. He is recognized as the co-creator of the Occupy Wall Street movement and was recently named “one of the most influential under-35 year olds” by Esquire. Chiara's unique approach to activism is shaped by her experience growing up in Cairo, Egypt and Ankara, Turkey. She is currently finishing her Ph.D. in Rhetoric at the University of California, Berkeley.
Micah and Chiara have been married for over eight years. They live in Nehalem, Oregon, a rural town on the coast.
